Attention: ALL Veterans

In honor of all the men and women that have served for our country, we want to make sure that all veterans know about the dental assistance available through the Michigan Veterans Trust Fund Grant Program. Call 517-373-3130 for more information if you are a veteran. If you have diabetes, are a Vietnam-era veteran and served in Vietnam, please contact the Federal VA Benefits Application Assistance State of MI 517-335-6134.

We have had some of our patients receive coverage for all their necessary dental treatment with this program. If you are a veteran or know a veteran, this fund is worth checking out. Call our office for more information.

Digital X-rays Offer Clear, Detailed Images

Dr. John Blake is excited to provide the latest technology in digital radiography to his valued patients. Patients will appreciate that digital images appear on the computer monitor instantly, which is a time saver, allowing the appointment time to be used more effectively. The images can be enlarged, colorized, drawn on and zoomed in to show all of the details of the teeth in question. Digital radiographs also require up to 75% less exposure than traditional X-ray film.

Digital radiography is also kinder to the environment. Without processing traditional film X-rays, the toxic chemicals and harsh cleaners for processing become relics of the past. Concern over disposing of these chemicals properly so they won’t leach into the groundwater is no longer an issue.
